The Phoenix Suns are one loss away from the end of their season, and they could definitely use their floor general on the court right now.
Chris Paul has missed the past three games with a tight groin, and their offense has been predictable and stagnant at times, even in their two wins at home.
Fortunately for the team and the fans, Paul recently told Tim MacMahon of ESPN that there’s a chance he suits up for Thursday night’s must-win matchup.
Asked Chris Paul about the possibility of him playing Game 6: “We’ll see. I’m trying to.”

Paul’s numbers haven’t exactly been impressive this year, but he’s still one of the greatest point guards and playmakers in the history of this game.
The Suns don’t need him to be a scorer or even play his usual pesky and gritty backcourt defense.
They just need someone who can help their two superstars get to their spots and get the basketball where they need it, and there’s no one better at that than Paul.
No disrespect to Landry Shamet or Cameron Payne, but they might not be the guys you want to roll with when the season is on the line, especially against a meticulous and savvy team like the Denver Nuggets.
The Suns even led by eight points when Paul fell with an injury before the Nuggets were able to storm back and take Game 2, once again highlighting how vital he is for his team’s aspirations.
Both teams have won each game at home, and the NBA would most definitely love it if this series were to go to seven games, especially if Paul suits up.
