It has been months since anyone has seen Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans play professional basketball.

Once again, Williamson started the season looking like a pivotal part of his team.

And, once again, an injury halted all of that and his team ultimately fell out of playoff contention without one of its top players.

A new image of Williamson in public is making the rounds online.

It’s hard to tell from just one picture, but it appears that Williamson is looking healthier than he has in some time.

You would think this would get Pelicans fans excited about what’s next for the talented, but injury-prone All-Star.

Instead, many of the responses online weren’t that giddy because they don’t expect Williamson to remain healthy when it matters the most.

“I’m slim too. Unfortunately neither of us are capable of playing 30 minutes in an NBA game” one response on Twitter said.

“Nobody cares if this isn’t true when the season comes back around,” another said.

“About to be looking injured next season as usual,” one user predicted.

Others were more compassionate about Williamson, saying they keep hoping he will stay in good shape without injuries.

However, based on his track record, that doesn’t seem promising.

Even if Williamson remains this healthy in the months ahead, there is no guarantee that he will be back with the Pelicans when the new season starts.

There has been a lot of speculation about what the Pelicans front office will do.

Will they stick with Williamson and give him another chance, or will they trade him away while he still has value on the market?

Williamson might be ready to suit up when the new season starts, but there’s a chance it won’t be in a New Orleans uniform.
