The Denver Broncos are hoping to have a much better season in 2023.
They were the most disappointing team in the league last year, and their offense was putrid.
Most of the reason why they were so bad was because of Russell Wilson.
In his first season in Denver, he looked nothing like his former elite self.
Head coach Nathaniel Hackett did not help as his offensive scheme seemed to fail.
But now the Broncos have a new head coach in Sean Payton, and he should help turn their offense around.
One player that needs to be more involved in the offense is wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
The former first-round pick has not produced much in his career, but quarterback play has been an issue.
Ian Rapoport says the Broncos are picking up the fifth-year option in Jeudy.
The #Broncos are picking up the fifth-year option on WR Jerry Jeudy, sources say, locking him in for 2024. No surprise, they had plenty of interest from teams wanting to trade for him, but Jeudy is a big part of their future.

It was interesting to see this move because there have been talks about the Broncos potentially trading Jeudy.
But Denver should want to find out what they have in their new offense before making any moves.
Jeudy has yet to have a breakout season in Denver.
His career high in receptions and yards came last season when he caught 67 passes for 972 yards.
He was selected in the first round for a reason and the Payton-led offense can potentially unleash him in 2023.
Depending how this season goes will play a large role in how long Jeudy remains in Denver.
