The Chicago Bulls are getting ready to make changes this offseason.

After yet another disappointing season, the six-time NBA champions will run it back with their core.

However, they will also part with some members of this year’s team, which reportedly include Patrick Beverley.

According to Joe Crowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, the controversial point guard will likely play elsewhere next season.

Fans reacted to this news, having different thoughts about what this means for Beverley.

Crowley reports that the Bulls saw good things in Coby White, who is set to become a restricted free agent.

This is a surprising move from the Bulls since Beverley quickly connected with his teammates.

Nevertheless, the front office is making some changes and the defensive specialist is one of them.

After spending half a season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Beverley was traded away.

The Bulls signed him after he was waived and this partnership appeared to be good.

The team was better with Beverley and was actually close to making it to the playoffs.

Now, he’s set to join a new team and showcase his talents once again.

In 22 games with the Chicago Bulls, Beverley averaged 5.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

He was pretty vocal about his team and his desire to eliminate the Lakers from the playoffs.

However, he was the one missing the big party and watching his former teammates from home.

Beverley can still be productive in the league as a veteran in the locker room.

It remains to be seen what team takes the risk of signing him or if his fate is outside of the association.
