The Golden State Warriors headed back home craving a win in Game 3 versus the Sacramento Kings, and they were missing one of their key guys on the floor.
Draymond Green was suspended for his altercation with Domantas Sabonis, all while Gary Payton II was out with an illness.
But even though Green wasn’t able to be on the court, he still did his part in trying to get the team ready for this must-win game, according to Moses Moody.

Moody claimed that Green gave the team a heartfelt pep talk about how they desperately needed to come together and win that game, jokingly adding that they would’ve had to give up their entire paycheck if there had been a swear jar in the locker room.
One could say several things about Green, but his leadership skills have been more than proven over time.
He’s made some mistakes along the way, but he’s never hesitated to own them and be held accountable for his misbehavior.
That’s why the team respects him and marches to his beat to try and match his energy, even when he’s not on the court.
Green’s future with the organization is a question mark right now, as GM Bob Myers might not be there, and they might not want to sign him to a contract extension.
He’s got a player option for next season, and this kind of story is a big example to why they should try and work things out to keep him around for many more years.
