After scoring a brace in his 45-minute stint against Leicester City on the weekend, Erling Haaland draws himself level with Mohamed Salah’s record of 32 goals in a 38-game Premier League season.

Erling Haaland has certainly made a dent in his first season since joining Manchester City in June, crushing records and making the toughest league in the world look as if it were a walk in the park.

On the weekend, Haaland’s 45-minute brace against Leicester elevated his tally to parity with Mohamed Salah’s record of 32 goals in a 38-game Premier League season.

The home side went on to win the game 3-1 after substituting the forward at halftime, resting him for the midweek Champions League clash in Munich.

Although, with eight league matches remaining on the calendar, Haaland seems destined to break the 32-goal mark and create history this season.

It seems like destiny for Haaland to break the all-time goalscoring record in the title-deciding bout between Arsenal and Manchester City, where the Premier League top scorer has the potential to prove the difference in the league title race.

Haaland recently broke the record for goals scored by a Premier League player in all competitions, having scored 47 goals in all competitions thus far, beating Mohamed Salah and Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s record of 44.

A staggering record of 70 minutes per goal scored puts the Norwegian ahead of Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero in the number-one spot, beating the Argentine’s record of 108 minutes per goal in the Premier League.
