Common Charges

HOA fee: $3,200 a month (includes property taxes, insurance and maintenance)

Pros

The place evokes Old-World charm, with top-quality materials and craftsmanship, including bluestone slate floors and patios, carved stone arches and walls, ornate wood doors and paneling, leaded-glass windows, wrought-iron railings, marble fireplaces, decorative molding and interior and exterior fountains.

Cons

The décor is very ornate and may not suit everyone’s taste. There is no central-air-conditioning and the kitchen needs an overhaul.
