Russell Westbrook spent a season-and-a-half with the Los Angeles Lakers before being traded away and eventually landing with the Los Angeles Clippers.
His time with the Lakers was decidedly mixed and received a lukewarm reception from both fans and NBA experts.
On Wednesday night, Westbrook will get a chance to show Lakers fans what they are missing now that he’s gone.
That’s because the Lakers and Clippers will face off in Los Angeles in a much-hyped game.

Westbrook’s move to the Lakers was one of the biggest blockbuster trades of that offseason.
When he was acquired by LA, fans knew that things could either go very well or very poorly.
During his first season, the star player averaged 18.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.1 assists.
Those decent numbers hide the fact that Westbrook’s shot selection was sloppy and he didn’t mesh well with the rest of the crew.
Earlier this season, head coach Darvin Ham decided to make Westbrook a bench player for the first time in his career.
He played in the role much better but it was still clear that Westbrook was not a natural fit for the team.
Since coming to the Clippers, Westbrook has become a starter again and has put up 15.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 7.8 assists.
He still has his moments of inconsistency but he is looking more comfortable.
Most Lakers fans were happy to see Westbrook go in February after more than a year of hoping he would work out.
But he might make them all very unhappy on Wednesday night if he has a great game.
