Veteran forward Kevin Love of the Miami Heat has been in the NBA for a long time and is arguably in the final stretch of his career with a team filled with fellow veterans like Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler.

The Heat may not be the dominant force it was a few years when the team reached the NBA Finals in the bubble, but they’ve remained a formidable opponent for opposing teams and will be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming postseason.

After a recent win over the Dallas Mavericks in which Butler willed his team to victory over Luka Doncic’s squad, Love had nothing but praise for his teammate and paid him one of the highest compliments.

The first thing that comes to mind after hearing Love praise Butler is that the one-time NBA champion played with LeBron James in Cleveland.

James is widely regarded to be one of the greatest NBA players of all time and added to his legacy this season by passing Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the league’s all-time scoring list.

Despite all of his accolades and accomplishments, James is not the player Love would look to in order to close out an NBA game, which is interesting, to say the least.

Butler, however, has proven to be one of the best clutch players in the game today, and it’s not surprising that Love has so much faith in his teammates to lead the team to victory when they need him the most.
