There are always a number of NFL teams that need a serious upgrade at quarterback, and there happens to be a good one available on the market right now.
He won the 2019 regular season MVP award, and that season he threw for 3,127 yards and a league-high 36 touchdowns while posting a passer rating of 113.3 and an NFL-high 83.0 QBR.
He also added 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground that year while leading his team to a 14-2 record, and he just turned 26 years of age, which means he should have many good years remaining.
Yet that quarterback — Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens — isn’t attracting any interest from other teams, according to NFL insider Dan Graziano.

Jackson’s passing production has declined since his MVP season, and he completed just 62.3 percent of his passes in 2022 while notching just 2,242 passing yards and 17 passing touchdowns.
One concern is his durability, as he has missed five games in both of the last two seasons and in general, there is lots of concern about the durability of dual-threat QBs such as him.
But the one thing that could be the biggest reason why no one is interested in Jackson is his contract demands.
He reportedly wants a fully-guaranteed contract that is in line with what some of the NFL’s best, such as Deshaun Watson, have gotten.
Watson received a $230 million deal from the Cleveland Browns shortly after they traded for him last year.
Jackson is currently under the Ravens’ non-exclusive franchise tag, and if he reaches terms with another team and they don’t match that contract offer, they will receive two first-round draft picks as compensation.
