The Aaron Rodgers situation has reached the point that the team appears to be done with him and that he’s content to take his talents to the New York Jets.

The relationship between the Green Bay Packers and Rodgers has been contentious for quite some time, with many believing the end result would be an ugly divorce of sorts.

That divorce appears to be on the horizon as long as the Jets and Packers see eye-to-eye on a blockbuster trade to make it happen, presumably before the 2023 NFL Draft.

However, Adam Schein of CBS Sports believes this entire situation could’ve been avoided had general manager Brian Gutekunst made an effort to track down the face of the franchise and convince him to stay.

At this point, it is hard to know what’s going on with Rodgers and his thought process.

It’s anyone’s guess where his head is at and what he’s been thinking over the past few years, so tracking Rodgers down might have done absolutely nothing.

It does seem as though the team got sick of Rodgers’ diva act and legitimately wants to move on in the same way they did with Brett Favre.

There’s a chance that the public never finds out what happened between the Packers and Rodgers and why things soured the way they did the last couple of years.

Regardless of what happened in the past, all signs point to Rodgers suiting up for the Jets next year and the Packers starting fresh with Jordan Love under center.
