The Dallas Mavericks made a bold decision when they traded for disgruntled Nets point guard Kyrie Irving.

He is a great player, but there has been a lot of baggage with him throughout his career.

No one ever seems to know what Irving is thinking, or if he is happy in his current situation.

Irving wanted out of Brooklyn which is why he requested a trade.

His recent social media post seems to have many NBA fans questioning what he is thinking.

Since joining the Mavericks, Irving has played very well.

He is averaging 27.6 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.4 rebounds.

But the Mavericks have still struggled to win games.

Currently, they sit tied for 11th place in the conference and are on the outside of the play-in tournament.

Many fans are confused by the Mavericks’ struggles with two superstar players.

Also, some fans are concerned that Irving may look for a new team in the off-season.

Since he is set to hit free agency, he will be free to sign anywhere.

If the Mavs fail to make the playoffs, it has to be considered that Irving might leave.

Many people have stated that Irving has an interest in going to the Los Angeles Lakers.

It is anyone’s guess what Irving will do this summer.

But, the Mavericks are still looking for a way to get into the playoffs this year.

They have eight games left and might need to win at least six to be a playoff team.

How the Mavs finish the season could play a big role in what Irving decides to do this summer.
