After a chaotic 2022 season in which they won just seven games, the Carolina Panthers could have a fairly competitive team next season.
They have added Pro Bowl running back Miles Sanders, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles, as well as stud wide receivers Adam Thielen and D.J. Chark.
Of course, Carolina will have the top pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, which it will presumably use on either Bryce Young of the University of Alabama or C.J. Stroud from Ohio State University.
The organization is using that top pick as a reason to increase ticket prices.

Going to an NFL game is already costly when one considers the cost of tickets, parking, transportation and food and drink, and it is certainly a burden given the realities of microeconomics and the lack of a middle class in America today.
One common criticism is that teams will supposedly find any excuse to raise ticket prices in order to maximize profits.
However, going to a Panthers game may soon be worth the cost.
If Young or Stroud live up to their potential, the team could possibly have a shot at getting a wild card playoff spot in 2023, especially considering that the NFC isn’t as deep as the AFC.
The defending conference champion Philadelphia Eagles look considerably weaker on paper, as do the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who lost Tom Brady to retirement.
The Panthers aren’t necessarily expecting to make the playoffs next season, but at least one playoff appearance appears to be in their near future, one way or another.
