Two days before Reese Witherspoon announced her split from husband Jim Toth, her daughter Ava Phillippe shared a few glowing words in honor of the Oscar winner’s 47th birthday.
“HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this legendary lady I’m lucky enough to call my mama!” the 23-year-old wrote on Instagram March 22. “She is truly a force of nature. While I am endlessly inspired by her and so proud of all she’s accomplished, what I admire most is the way she moves through the world as a curious, considerate, gracious, and loving person.”
Ava—who along with brother Deacon, 19, are Reese’s kids with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe—added that she finds “even more reasons” to love her mom year after year.
“I am thrilled to celebrate another year of her bright light in my life!” she continued. “Love you always @reesewitherspoon.”
