Over the last several years, Stephen Curry has gotten used to winning lots of games.
His Golden State Warriors have won four NBA championships over the previous eight seasons, and they have routinely passed the 50-win mark whenever they have been healthy.
But this season has been a strange struggle for them, as they’re just one game over .500 and have had major problems winning on the road.
As a result, they’re in just sixth place in the Western Conference and are just half a game ahead of the seventh-place Dallas Mavericks.
Curry says that having to fight just to claim a playoff spot may be inspiring, but it’s also depressing at the same time.

The Warriors are the NBA’s reigning dynasty, and they have established a winning tradition from top to bottom.
Some felt they would be even better this season than they were last season when they won 53 regular season games, but instead, they have been unable to create or sustain any real momentum.
While they’ve been excellent at Chase Center with a 29-7 home record, they’re just 8-29 away from San Francisco.
No team has lost more road games so far this season than Curry and company.
Certainly, one factor in Golden State’s struggles has been player availability, especially since Curry himself has appeared in just 47 games this year due to multiple injuries.
In addition, forward Andrew Wiggins, who was a big part of the team’s resurgence the last year or two, has been out for over a month due to a personal matter, and there hasn’t been any definitive word on his timetable for a return or even the nature of his personal matter.
