The Las Vegas Raiders are not yet done making moves in free agency.

The first big move they made this offseason was by signing quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

Las Vegas needed a steady player that they could trust to step in and win games.

Garoppolo has been exactly that throughout his career.

But, the Raiders also want to put the best players around Garoppolo so he can maximize his ability.

They already have an elite WR1 in Davante Adams and two more solid receiving options in Hunter Renfrow and Jakobi Meyers.

But, they need a new tight end.

The Raiders decided to move off of Darren Waller by trading him to the New York Giants.

So to address the position, Las Vegas went out and signed a former first-round pick.

According to Vincent Bonsignore, the Raiders have agreed to terms with tight end O.J. Howard.

Howard spent last season with the Houston Texans, where he started in 10 games.

Even though he had a very underwhelming season, there is still potential for him to be good.

Howard will be 29 years old midway through next season, and he can be a solid downfield threat.

Garoppolo has a history of utilizing his tight ends as he did with George Kittle in San Francisco.

It will be interesting to see if Howard can take the TE1 role in Las Vegas.

He has yet to live up to his first-round pick status, but he can still be a valuable player.
