At a bilateral meeting in San Diego on Monday, President Biden and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will announce that Australia will purchase nuclear-powered submarines from the U.S. as part of an expansion of its navy. Biden will also meet one-on-one with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in San Diego.

On Tuesday, the President travels to Monterey Park, California, to speak on gun violence. Biden will then travel to Las Vegas later that day for an event on prescription drug costs before returning to Washington.
