I dip, you did, we dip! Here at LIY, there’s not much we love more than a good dip. Beer cheese, queso, guac… you name it, we’re probably breaking it out to snack on during a 9AM meeting. So in honor of kicking off March Madness and Summer cookouts right around the corner, we’re sharing our favorite chip dip recipes for the perfect side dish [or 9AM snack, no judgement here 😉 ]!

Hot Cheese Dip

    Cream Cheese
    softened
  • 8
    oz
    Sour Cream
  • 9
    oz can
    Frito’s Bean Dip
  • 1/2
    packet
    Taco Seasoning
  • 1
    tsp
    Minced Onions
  • 1
    cup
    Sharp Shredded Cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix all of the ingredients [other than the shredded cheese] together and place into oven safe baking dish.

  3. Add shredded cheese to the top.

  4. Serve hot with tortilla chips or Fritos! Enjoy!

Baked Chili Bean Dip

    Cream Cheese
    softened
  • 15
    oz
    Hormel Chili with Beans
  • 2
    Cups
    Shredded Cheese
  1. Layer a baking dish with the softened cream cheese

  2. Top the cream cheese with the can of Hormel chili beans

  3. Sprinkle with shredded cheese on top!

  4. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes! Serve warm!

Queso

This is my go-to queso recipe for all things cheesy! I serve it with chips, as part of a nacho/taco bar and baked on top of chicken enchiladas! So easy and tasty!

Cook Time 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Time 1 hour 4 minutes

    White American Cheese
    Cubed
  • 1/2
    tsp
    Onion Powder
  • 1
    tsp
    Garlic Powder
  • 1/2
    cup
    Milk
  • 1/2
    tsp
    Cumin
  • 1/4
    tsp
    Pepper
  • 1
    can
    Diced Mild Green Chilis
  1. Add all ingredients to Crock Pot. Cook on low for approximately 1.5 hours, until melted. Switch to Warm setting and serve with tortilla chips.

Cowboy Crack

  • 2
    8 oz.
    Packages of Cream Cheese
  • 2
    c.
    Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1
    lb.
    Spricy Ground Sausage [browned & drained]
  • 1
    c.
    Frozen Corn
  • 2
    cans
    Rotel
  1. Mix all ingredients into crockpot and cook on low for 1-2 hours.

  2. Serve with tortillas chips. Enjoy!

Beer Cheese Dip

  • 6
    oz.
    Guinness Beer
  • 2
    8 oz.
    Packages Cream Cheese [cubed]
  • 4
    c.
    Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  1. In a mini slow-cooker, combine Guinness, cream cheese, and cheddar. Cover and cook on low, stirring well every 10 minutes, until warmed through and creamy, about 1 hour. Enjoy!

Texas Caviar Chip Dip

  • 1/2
    Cup
    Olive Oil
  • 1
    Lime, Juiced
  • 1/4
    Cup
    White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/8
    Cup
    Sugar
  • 1/4
    tsp
    Garlic Powder
  • 1
    tsp
    Salt
  • 1
    15 oz
    Black Eyed Peas, drained
  • 1
    15 oz
    Black Beans, drained
  • 2
    Roma Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 1 1/2
    Cups
    Frozen Sweet Corn
  • 1/2
    Cup
    Red Onion, Diced
  • 1/2
    Cup
    Green Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • 1/2
    Cup
    Red Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • 1
    Jalapeno, Chopped
  • 1/2
    Cup
    Cilantro, Chopped
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, sugar, lime juice, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, and salt.

  2. Add all remaining ingredients and mix until well stirred.

  3. Top with cilantro and refrigerate until ready to serve! Enjoy!

Best Guacamole

this easy guac will keep you coming back for more!

  1. combine all ingredients, mash and mix with fork until smooth

3 Ingredient Chip Dip

  • 1
    lb
    Ground Beef
  • 16
    oz
    Medium Salsa
  • 16
    oz
    Velveeta Cheese
  1. Brown the ground beef on the skillet and drain.

  2. Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours!
