Vancouver Canucks defenceman Christian Wolanin has been fined $2,027.03, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for slashing Dallas Stars forward Ty Dellandrea on Monday, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced Tuesday.

There was no penalty on the play, which occurred in the third period of Vancouver’s 5-4 overtime win.
