Patrick Mahomes has put together an impressive portfolio in his first five years as the Kansas City Chiefs‘ starting quarterback.
He has won two Super Bowls, two league MVP awards, and two Super Bowl MVPs among other accolades.
With these awards in mind, Mahomes has continued to be talked about as one of the league’s best quarterbacks.

Mahomes has been graded higher than both Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady over the last five seasons.
In that span, Mahomes has amassed 24,241 yards, 192 touchdowns, 49 interceptions, and an average passer rating of 105.7.
Although he is only 27 years, Mahomes is often regarded as the league’s best quarterback, especially now that Brady has retired.
Last season, Mahomes threw for 5,250 yards, which was over 500 more yards than the next closest quarterback.
Additionally, his 41 touchdown passes were six more than Josh Allen and Joe Burrow’s total, who were tied for the second-most.
The AFC is in a great spot at the moment, especially in consideration of the elite quarterbacks that are in the conference.
Although Mahomes is often recognized as the best of the bunch, Allen, Burrow, and others are on his tail.
Mahomes’ two Super Bowl rings will be tough to beat, however, and the Chiefs don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
Will the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills be able to overtake the Chiefs as the kings of the AFC?
Considering that the Chiefs have been in the Super Bowl in three of the last five seasons, it might be easier said than done.
