The Arizona Cardinals have had a busy offseason so far.
The team has announced the hiring of Cleveland Browns quarterbacks coach Drew Petzing.
According to Albert Breer, the team gave him a three-year deal to be their offensive coordinator.
The Cardinals are finalizing a three-year deal to make Browns QBs coach Drew Petzing their offensive coordinator, per sources. He joins new DC Nick Rallis, who’s coming from Philly with Jonathan Gannon.
Both guys topped Gannon’s wishlist. Young staff makeup = Similar to Philly.

He has had several different roles with each team he has coached in the NFL.
While with the Browns, he was a tight-ends coach before becoming their quarterback coach.
However, he has experience as a wide receivers coach from his time with the Minnesota Vikings.
Petzing will be challenged with getting Kyler Murray back on track.
However, until he can play again, Petzing will have a different quarterback to work with for 2023.
While he won’t have Murray for the upcoming season, he’ll be around a young coaching staff hungry to turn things around for Arizona.
He’ll also have Marquise Brown and Robbie Anderson at the receiver position to work with.
With the offensive talent in Arizona, the team hopes some fresh coaches can help make them competitive again.
