There are always risks when you make a wager, especially when you try to bet big on some unlikely odds. Some Super Bowl LVII bettors are finding that out in a tough way.

In many cases, misery can have some costly company as some bettors pour their hearts out on the wagers that did not cash. Here is a look at some of the “bad beats” of the Super Bowl.

It all started with the length of the anthem, clocking in at 2:02 and hitting UNDER the time set by oddsmakers at 2:05.

Now when it comes to betting on the coin toss, tails often doesn’t fail — and that proved to be true on Sunday. Unfortunately, those who decided to go with heads lost and some did in a big way.

One of the tougher bets to hit on is predicting who will score the first touchdown of the game. It looked like some bettors were going to hit on some great odds with Kenneth Gainwell, but, unfortunately, Gainwell was ruled down short after a review as his elbow hit the ground before he could break the plane.

The odds were anywhere from 16/1 (+1600) to 20/1 (+2000) for Gainwell to punch in the first score. However, if you had Jalen Hurts to score the first touchdown, that review proved to be a money maker.
