After a disappointing and frustrating 2022 season, all eyes are on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and what he will do moving forward.

There has been speculation that he may be traded to another team, but Rodgers now admits he’s not even sure he wants to play another season.

According to NFL reporter Rob Demovsky, the 39-year-old plans on turning inward for several days and figuring out what would be best for him.

After losing in the divisional round of last year’s NFL playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers entered last season full of similar uncertainty.

Rodgers was demanding a new contract, which he received, but star wide receiver Davante Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, and many blamed Rodgers and his demands for making it financially necessary for the team to jettison arguably the best wideout in the game.

Without Adams, the Packers’ offense looked anemic for much of this season, and despite a late surge that put them in contention for a playoff spot, they ultimately fell short of claiming one.

Recently, the hot rumor is that Rodgers would like to go to Las Vegas and reunite with Adams.

The Raiders just happen to be looking for a new QB after deciding to part ways with Derek Carr after they, like the Packers, had a down year.

Rodgers’ numbers were down somewhat this season, and perhaps he cannot single-handedly carry a team like he could just a few years ago, but he could still be a nice, albeit a temporary win-now solution for some team.

That is, if he even wants to suit up at all in 2023.
