Many feel that quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ days with the Green Bay Packers are over, and if that is true, a number of teams will surely be interested in him this offseason.

One team that will reportedly be hot on his trail is the Las Vegas Raiders, who have star wide receiver Davante Adams, who used to be Rodgers’ favorite target in Green Bay.

While playing golf, Rodgers jokingly said that Davante Adams needed to buy him a house.

Last offseason, Rodgers was demanding a big new contract from the Packers, and he got it, but the casualty may have been Adams, who was traded to Las Vegas.

Without arguably the best wideout in the NFL, the Packers’ offense struggled for most of this season, and they fell to an 8-9 record and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Meanwhile, the Raiders fell well short of expectations.

Some felt they would be Super Bowl contenders, but they lost many close games and blew multiple big leads, leading to a 6-11 finish.

They have moved on from quarterback Derek Carr, and it doesn’t look like Jarrett Stidham, his replacement late in the season, will be their signal-caller of the future.

Las Vegas has plenty of weapons other than Adams, such as Pro Bowl running back Josh Jacobs, who is about to become a free agent, and tight end Darren Waller.

If it keeps Jacobs, then perhaps Rodgers could make them a contender if he maintains something close to the level of play everyone has become accustomed to seeing from him.
