Jason and Travis Kelce will be on different sides of the coin in Super Bowl 57, but Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs fans appear to agree on one thing — they want Kelce’s mother, affectionally dubbed “Mama” Donna Kelce, to do the coin toss.

Donna Kelce made history as the first mother to have her sons, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Eagles center Jason Kelce, play against each other in a Super Bowl.

“I’ll just be so elated,” Donna Kelce said earlier this week. “Probably some tears. And it’ll just be a very, very emotional moment.” And fans want it to be even more special.

A Change.org petition calling for Donna Kelce to do an honorary coin toss at Super Bowl 57 is gaining steam online, garnering over 108K signatures as of Saturday afternoon.

“What a great way to show the Super Proud mama some Amazing Appreciation and Love while giving her a once in a lifetime opportunity!” wrote the petition’s creator,  Amber Smith. One person who signed the petition added, “This mom obviously raised her boys right. Let’s give her credit!”

The odds of Donna Kelce actually doing the Super Bowl 57 coin toss are a long shot, maybe as improbable as two brother facing off against each other in the Super Bowl. But the opportunity would provide the perfect close-up of Donna Kelce’s game day attire. She’s known for wearing a custom jersey displaying both her son’s numbers.

“Obviously, there’s going to be somebody that’s going to go home heartbroken — they won’t have the bragging rights at the Thanksgiving table, but this is going to be an awesome event and I’m really looking forward to it,” Donna Kelce said.

As for who she’s rooting for? “The offense. Every time somebody has the ball,” she said, laughing.
