The hour glass of time is slowly draining on Aaron Rodgers.

While the four-time MVP has been key to the Green Bay Packers offense, questions about his time with the team have been circulating since 2020.

Since the team took Jordan Love in the NFL Draft, people saw Rodgers’ time with the team eventually ending.

However, they never knew when the end was coming for the star quarterback.

Now the answer to this question could be coming to light.

Sources are telling NFL insider Adam Schefter that the Packers “prefer,” to part ways with their veteran quarterback.

These sources also tell Schefter how the four-time MVP is aware of how his team feels.

With Rodgers coming off one of his worst performances of his career, the Packers are looking for a fresh start under center.

The 2022-23 season saw Rodgers having no games of 300 passing yards, while only having one game over 275 passing yards.

His 12 interceptions were his highest since 2008, which was the season he took over for Brett Favre.

However, injuries were also an issue for him throughout the season.

While he played through his injuries, his performance during the season suffered from those injuries.

With him refusing to have surgery on his broken right thumb, it gives the Packers a reason to trade him.

However, they also have plenty of other reasons to trade the aging quarterback.

While Rodgers might feel he’s got plenty left in the tank, his team feels his time with them is over.

Because of this, fans and analysts are eagerly waiting to see where Rodgers will go in 2023.
