My All-Time Beauty Favorites – Living in Yellow

Disclosure: Thank you to Nordstrom and ShopStyle Collective for sponsoring today’s post. All products were purchased, used, and loved by yours truly.

Calling all beauty junkies – it’s time for a rundown of some of my ride-or-die, tried and true, all-time favorite beauty products. They say it takes a village and whoa, they aren’t lying. I’ve rounded up 15 of my favorite beauty items and that’s just scratching the surface [I’m afraid to count how many products I use in a day to get my face, hair, skin, and body looking presentable 🤣].

Everything you see today hails from Nordstrom as they are a one-stop shop for the best of the best brands [see their best-sellers here!] I love that I can buy all of my go-to’s and have them ship for free and I also love trying new beauty items from Nordstrom knowing I can return them for free if they don’t work out. Not only that, but Nordstrom is constantly doing beauty and style workshops in-store [which is how I was introduced to several of the favorites you see below] and can turn any novice into a pro with their help. Thanks to Nordstrom Beauty this girl can step forward in confidence.

Television Perfect Hair Shampoo • R+CO // Television Perfect Hair Conditioner • R+CO // Restorative Hair Mask • Moroccanoil // Ultimate Man Soap Scrub Set $30 Value • Kiehl’s

Scrub a dub, it’s time to lather and rinse friends. First up, shampoo & conditioner. I recently started trying R+Co brand and it’s a hit! Not only does it smell amazing, they help my dry scalp stay hydrated and my hair looking shiny and healthy. Speaking of dry hair, I try to do a moisturizing mask weekly and this Moroccanoil intense hydrating mask does the trick! Last but not least, yes, it’s men’s soap and no, I have no shame in using it. I love the exfoliating bars and the smell, mmmm the smell.

Hand Wash • Moroccanoil // Hand Cream • Moroccanoil

Hand Cream • Moroccanoil

I don’t know if I could be more obsessed with a hand wash and soap. I know it’s an odd thing to get excited about but hey, this is 36. I’ve been a major fan of all things Moroccanoil for years because of its incredible scent so when I learned I could experience that same scent all day every day in this hand wash and hand cream [I use fragrance originale] I was sold. The products are hydrating, non-sticky, and did I mention they smell like Heaven? Glorious.

Supersonic™ Hair Dryer • Dyson // SinglePass® Curl 1-inch Professional Ceramic Curling Iron • T3 Tourmaline

SinglePass® Curl 1-inch Professional Ceramic Curling Iron • T3 Tourmaline

I know if most people were stranded on a deserted island they’d opt for things like food as their “one item you’d want to have” but I think I’d have to go with these two guys here 😉 I was skeptical of the Dyson Hair Dryer before I used it, but let’s just say it blew me away. Now, time for my beloved curling iron. I’ve tried to use others since I started using this T3 Tourmaline but none other compares in my book. The 1-inch barrel provides the perfect curl and the curls hold super well. You can see how I use it here!

Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette • Urban Decay // Mineralize Blush • M·A·C // Original Foundation SPF 15 Powder Foundation • bareMinerals // Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer • Too Faced // Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultrafine Shape & Define Pencil • Benefit Cosmetics

Now here is where it really takes a village, friends. I’ll just highlight a few below but just know that everything photographed above is absolutely worth trying [and are products I’ve used for years]!

Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette • Urban Decay

I’ve been a naked girl [we’re talking eye palettes, calm down ;)] for years. It all started with the original Naked Palette thanks to a Nordstrom beauty professional recommending it to me and here we are years later graduating to the Naked3 [who knew I’d start counting my age not by the number of years old I am but by the number of what Naked palette I’m on]. I use the color strange all over my lid, apply mugshot on my brow bone area and slightly in the crease, line my bottom lid with blackheart, and then put a little bit of strange on my lower lid right in the corner to lighten and brighten! Easy peasy, these colors last all day and go on like a champ!

Mineralize Blush • M·A·C

This blush is newer to me [I’ve used MAC for years, but never their mineralized version]. I picked this up in the color Like Me, Love Me – it’s a subtle touch of color that creates a sun-kissed look!

neuBROW eyebrow serum

Last but not least, it’s time to talk about brows. Within the last year, I’ve noticed my eyebrows start to thin [aging is so fun] and so I went on a quest to find something to help grow in the bare spots. This serum is working shockingly well just a month in and the thin patches are starting to fill in. And for the parts that still need a little love? This Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultrafine Shape & Define Pencil saves the day!
