Fans of the Chicago Bears have been begging the team to get quarterback Justin Fields some help at the receiver position.

While the team got two receivers to help him in 2022, they turned into busts.

Both Chase Claypool and N’Keal Harry were a disappointment for the team.

However, 2023 gives the Bears a shocking option at the wide receiver position.

While some fans are looking to DeAndre Hopkins, there’s another receiver the Bears might nab.

This receiver will require the Bears to make a trade, just like with any deal for Hopkins.

But it’s also a receiver who hasn’t been named by his team as a player they want to trade.

This receiver is Adam Thielen, and it’s his wife who is saying things which make it seem like he’s leaving Minnesota.

With her Instagram post saying “our time here in MN might be at an end,” it has everyone thinking the Minnesota Vikings will trade him.

While he’s under contract for two more seasons, the Vikings have a stud receiver in Justin Jefferson.

Add in how Thielen will be 33 years old when the 2023 NFL season begins and you have reasons to trade him.

However, he’s not the quality of receiver that Hopkins is in the NFL.

But that doesn’t mean he isn’t an upgrade over the current slate of receivers in Chicago.

If the Vikings want to trade him, the Bears shouldn’t overpay for him like they did with Claypool.

With Thielen’s last 1,000+ yard season coming in 2018, he’s not a number one guy anymore.

Anything above a fifth-rounder is too much for him.
