Everest Traders Inc. is recalling Punjab King brand Pure Honey over the presence of metronidazole. Metronidazole is an antibiotic that kills bacteria.

The recalled products have been sold in Ontario and Quebec, Canada, according to the recall notice posted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency..

Consumers and retail should not consume, use, sell, serve or distribute recalled products. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.
