The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off one of the most shocking playoff victories in recent history.

Their win over the Los Angeles Chargers put them in the history books Saturday night.

While the Jaguars came into the game as the home team, they were underdogs to the Chargers.

However, their performance in the second half made NFL history.

After being down 27-7 in the first half, they came back to win the game 31-30.

The feat makes them the first team in history to have the worst record in the prior NFL season, and then win a playoff game the following season.

While the win is historic in this light, it was also historic in other areas.

With the Jaguars down by 27 points in the third quarter, their comeback victory is the third largest in playoff history.

The Jaguars were in a hole early and overcame Trevor Lawrence‘s four interceptions.

Despite this, he redeemed himself with four passing touchdowns.

His performance in the second half shows exactly what people in Jacksonville already knew about the young quarterback.

He’s a fighter and he will overcome his mistakes to help the team win.

The win is exactly five years removed from their last playoff win, which was against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018.

It’s been a long time since the Jaguars could brag about something.

However, Saturday night is giving them plenty of reasons to brag to the world about their team.

They overcame a solid team and have made a huge turnaround this season, which helped them get their historic win on Saturday.
