The NFL is seeing the non-playoff teams making moves to change their coaching staffs.

For one team, they are looking to a former head coach of the Chicago Bears to become their next offensive coordinator.

This coach has an interesting history with fans in Chicago, as he’s been both loved and hated by fans.

However, the Tennessee Titans feel former Bears head coach Matt Nagy can help their offense.

While his time with the Bears was a mixed bag, his time back with the Kansas City Chiefs has seen him coaching Patrick Mahomes to a possible MVP title this season.

When Nagy was coaching in Chicago, fans saw him making questionable offensive play calls.

However, his time with Mahomes has seen the star quarterback lead the league in passing yards (5,250), touchdowns (41), and QBR (77.7) this season.

The Titans must see this performance by Mahomes and feel Nagy can bring that to Tennessee.

But this may never happen, as Mahomes was a star before Nagy came back to KC.

Instead of looking towards his time with the Chiefs, they need to see his failures from Chicago.

With NFL analysts seeing how awful Nagy was as an offensive play caller, the Titans should see the same thing.

Yet he has a chance to once again climb up the NFL coaching chain.

While it’s not a head coaching job, it’s a bigger job that what he currently holds.

If he somehow gets this job, fans in Chicago will feel sorry for the Titans and their offense in 2023.
