There has been both good and bad coming from the Los Angeles Lakers lately but the team is still striving to get better.
Things haven’t been easy at any point during the season but the loss of Anthony Davis has really hurt them and put their playoff chances in even more jeopardy.
If they are to find success in the second half of the season, they will need to have a few reliable big men to fill the major void left by Davis.

That is why the team recently held workouts for two NBA stars currently without a home: DeMarcus Cousins and Meyers Leonard.
Ham, who is usually mum about workouts and team plans, commented on the workouts.
He told the press that things went really well with both Cousins and Leonard, but fell short of saying if he planned on either player being with the team.
Both of these athletes had successful and controversial tenures in the league.
Cousins averaged 19.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists throughout his time in the NBA, playing for the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Denver Nuggets.
At 32 years old, he could still produce a lot as long as he stays healthy and keeps his attitude in check.
As for Leonard, he produced 5.6 points and 3.9 rebounds during his years with the Portland Trail Blazers and Miami Heat.
But his career was ruined by injury and serious controversy after he was caught on camera using an antisemitic slur.
Since then, he has done a lot of work to redeem himself and apologize for his actions.
Will the Lakers be the team to give him or Cousins a second chance in the league?
