CAMROSE, Alta. — Switzerland’s Team Raphaela Keiser and Italy’s Team Stefania Constantini are staying afloat in the women’s C-side of the Co-op Canadian Open.
Keiser took two points for the win in the eighth end to oust compatriots Team Silvana Tirinzoni 4-3, while Constantini counted three in the final frame to eliminate Team Tabitha Peterson from the United States 6-5 during Draw 13 action Friday morning.
It was the second straight victories for both Team Keiser and Team Constantini as they also started the tournament with back-to-back losses.
They’re now one more win away each from advancing to the playoffs and will next play in the women’s C-qualifiers Saturday morning with their opponents to be determined.
Teams must win three games before they lose three in order to reach the quarterfinals.
