The Dallas Cowboys came into Week 18 with a chance at winning the NFC East and gaining the number one seed.

But, they could not have looked more unmotivated in the season finale.

The Cowboys went into Washington and got punished for all four quarters.

Losing the game by a score of 26-6.

It started on their first drive of the game when punter Bryan Anger dropped the ball on a punt attempt.

That resulted in a Washington touchdown and they never surrendered the lead again.

This was the Cowboys’ worst offensive performance of the season, which is the last thing they wanted to see.

Dallas had a terrible game plan, it seemed like they were just going through the motions.

Offensive coordinator Kellen Moore deserves plenty of blame for this game as well.

Despite the Cowboys averaging about two yards per carry, Moore kept calling runs on 1st/2nd &10.

Setting the offense up for third and long tires that they failed to convert all game long.

That was a big reason for their 10 three-and-outs in the game.

This was also the worst game of the season for quarterback Dak Prescott.

He looked nothing like the player we have seen since he returned from his injury in Week 7.

Prescott completed only 14 of 37 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown.

He also threw another interception in what is now his seventh straight game.

Despite the abysmal showing in this game, the Cowboys have still locked up the fifth seed in the NFC playoffs.

This means they will go on the road to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week.

Dallas has not lost two games in a row all season, so they are hoping to keep that going into the playoffs.

But, they will need to play much better in all three phases if they want any chance at advancing past the first round.
