The Washington Commanders NFL season has been interesting thanks to Ron Rivera coaching them.

While the team was down to start the season, they made a fight to get themselves into the playoff picture.

His speeches throughout the season have lit a fire under his team.

However, Rivera had himself an embarrassing moment after the team lost to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Rivera Is Clueless That The Commanders Were Eliminated With A Packers Win

During his post-game conference, Rivera had a reporter asking him about his quarterback choice for next week.

However, the reporter then brought up how the Commanders will be eliminated if the Green Bay Packers won their game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Rivera’s look after hearing the question had him looking clueless.

With him not knowing about this scenario, fans were wondering how he didn’t know this could happen.

It’s might show how he’s not paying attention to the important things with the team.

While he’s been a source of encouragement for his team, he wasn’t a source for playoff elimination scenarios.

With the Commanders officially out of the NFL playoff race, they can only look back at how they missed their playoff shot.

Had their coach left in Taylor Heinicke, maybe the Commanders defeat the Browns.

However, Rivera took a gamble on the returning Carson Wentz.

His decision ended in a bust, as Wentz had no touchdowns and three interceptions against the Browns.

As embarrassing as his press conference was, his decision to start Wentz over Heinicke was even worse.
