The Buffalo Bills look to clinch the AFC East with a win over the Chicago Bears during week 16.

With the Bears having a laundry list of injuries, there’s not much they can do to stop the Bills.

However, their star quarterback, Justin Fields, continues to play his heart out every down.

While some might not feel the game will be competitive, there are two bold predictions for this game.

Fields Closes In On NFL Record Against Bills

Fields has been the shining star of the Bears’ offense since week seven.

It was there he started showing signs of life.

Now, he’s aiming for the NFL rushing yards record by a quarterback in a single season.

While the Bills defense is usually good against the run, they gave up 188 rushing yards in their Saturday win over the Miami Dolphins.

They also allowed Lamar Jackson, who currently holds the record Fields is going after, to rush for 73 yards earlier this season.

This bodes well for Fields, as he can hit 90+ rushing yards against the Bills.

Bills Don’t Cover The Spread Against The Bears

If anyone is betting on the Bills vs. Bears game, they shouldn’t take the Bills.

While the Bills are on top of the AFC, they aren’t good at covering the betting spread.

With a 6-8 ATS record, the nine points they are giving to the Bears are a trap for gamblers.

The Bears and Fields prove each game they have some fight in them to keep games close.

With them losing only four of their 11 games by more than one score, they can keep this game close as well.
