Disclosure: Thank you to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring today’s post. All products were selected, worn, and loved by yours truly.

It’s still not fully hitting me that in a short week I will be living in Florida primarily for the winter months. While I do love the snow that is falling outside my window, there is nothing better than the ocean breeze and an all-natural dose of Vitamin D daily. We just visited the island a couple of weeks ago to check-in on the house and I thought I’d answer the questions of “what should I pack for Anna Maria Island” in one quick post.

When it comes to packing for my time on the island, there’s a few common themes: it’s pretty casual and it primarily comes from Nordstrom. As you know, Nordstrom is jam-packed with high-quality brands that all ship for free [and fast!] They have a BIG variety of vacation-ready finds and I love that I can also buy online and pick-up in store [which is perfect this time of year for holiday shopping!]

Zella tee [size down one, wearing in XS] // Nike shorts [size up one, wearing in medium] // Hoka Sneakers [size up .5]

It’s true, these sneakers are as comfortable as everybody claims them to be. They are the perfect sidekick to any morning walk or bike ride while on vacation. Bonus: wear ’em to and from your travels through the airport [you never know when you may need to put their running capabilities to the test].

Afternoon Lunch + Shopping

Tank [size down one, wearing in XS] // Shorts [size up one, wearing in 28] // Sandals [size up .5]

Top [size down if in between] // Pants [true to size] // Sandals [size up .5]

Just give me something casual and comfy to bounce around to my favorite food stops for lunch [Poppo’s Taquerio, North Shore Cafe, The Porch, The Sandbar, Scott’s Deli, The Cheesecake Cutie to name a few] and I’m set. I love how relaxed the island is so you definitely don’t need anything fancy as you browse through shops and enjoy a bite or two to eat. These shorts and these basic tanks are always my go-to.

Exploring The Island

Coverup [true to size, wearing in small] // Sunglasses

It’s suit time baby. Throw on a coverup [this one is an all-time fave] and head out in search for dolphins and manatees on the city pier and just take in the beautiful scenery.

Beach Time

Swimsuit [size up one, wearing in 8] // Beach Pants [true to size, wearing in small]

Tory Burch Millers [size up .5]

Beach Bag

It’s not a proper trip to Anna Maria without spending time at the beach. I just got my hands on this MiracleSuit and I can’t recommend it more. She’s chic, comfortable, and flattering.

Sunset Dinner

Maxi Dress [true to size, wearing in small] // Wedges [true to size]

Dress [true to size, wearing in small] // Sunglasses // Wedges [true to size]

And last but not least, to close out the day, a few dressier options to throw on to catch the sunset [there is nothing better than watching the sun set over the Gulf] and eat something delicious! Our favorite waterfront spots: The Sandbar, The Beach House, Waterfront, Shore and Mar Vista over at Longboay Key.
