An NFL season can be defined by different metrics of success, depending on who you ask.

If you ask members of sports media, they might tell you that, if players on a given team win individual awards, that can be seen as a successful season.

However, the majority of NFL players see seasons as a failure, especially if their team misses the playoffs.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was recently heard giving his own opinion on the situation.

In his six-year NFL career, Garrett has been an All-Pro twice, been selected to the Pro Bowl on three separate occasions, and is regularly discussed as one of the NFL’s most dominant defenders.

Garrett has also been a part of two Browns playoff games, both happening during the 2020 season.

As he points out, each NFL team sets out to make the playoffs, with their ultimate goal of winning the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately for the Browns, they are all but officially eliminated from the 2022 playoffs.

The Future Of The Browns

While the Browns are unlikely to hoist the Lombardi Trophy this season, they certainly can have hope for their future.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson has only played one game with the team, and his rapport with pass-catchers will only get better as he is able to spend more time practicing with them.

The Browns’ defense is loaded with great defensive players alongside Garrett and should be able to continue their success into 2023.

The future of the Browns is bright, assuming they can put the pieces together for a full season.
