LIY Ambassador and resident tall girl Heather here! Our family of four just got back from a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth – Walt Disney World! My kids, Liam (6) and Emma (4) are a great age to experience all the magic minus a few meltdowns of course!
We stayed 5 nights at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort and really enjoyed the property. The November weather was a huge appeal to going this time of the year and other than our day at Disney Springs where we got poured on the weather was partly cloudy and mid-70s. We had one day at each park and hope this post gives you outfit inspiration for your next Disney trip! We also included a FREE printable packing list to make things even more magical! Here’s What to Wear at Walt Disney World: 5 Days of Outfits for the Whole Family!

Our first park day was at Hollywood Studios and we missed the early entry by 30 seconds, but we never missed it after that! Early entry access is so great and a huge perk to staying on property. The highlight for Emma was seeing the Frozen show and Liam loved Toy Story Mania! We dined at Hollywood & Vine which was a great character dining experience.

Tuesday we spent at Animal Kingdom and we all enjoyed the Safari ride. The kids enjoyed many of the rides and we dined at Tusker House where my husband and I loved the curry! This was our shortest park day and got back to the resort late afternoon to enjoy the pool and arcade.
Mom’s Shirt / Mom’s Skort / Mom’s Sneakers / Mom’s Ears / Dad’s Shirt / Kids Outfits from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!
Wednesday was a full day at Magic Kingdom with lunch at Be Our Guest and dinner at The Crystal Palace! So many rides for the kids and we hardly had any down time! Both the kids went to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and LOVED it! If you have a young daughter that likes princesses be sure to check this out, it’s worth it! Liam was a dragon slayer and Emma chose Cinderella after meeting her earlier in the day. My goal was to make it to the fireworks and we did! This was the most magical day full of core memories!
Mom’s Shirt / Mom’s Skort / Mom’s Hat / Mom’s Sneakers / Emma’s Elsa Outfit / Liam’s Shirt / Dad’s Shirt
We spent Thanksgiving at EPCOT eating and drinking around the world. Emma had waited all week to meet Anna and Elsa and it was her highlight. The girls had reservations at Akershus and we got to meet 5 princesses, including Ariel! The boys went to Garden Grill for a full Thanksgiving feast with Chip and Dale.
There was no park picture at Disney Springs because it poured on us the entire time! Definitely bring a good raincoat for this trip. We all wore our rain coats every day! The kids were troopers and were having so much fun so we knew the rest of the week was going to be so much fun.
In order to create an environment that is more inclusive, representative and welcoming to women everywhere, we have had the honor of welcoming 8 women from all walks of life who represent a full picture of our community. We are so thrilled to announce the Living In Yellow Ambassador Program. Take a moment to formally introduce the amazing women that make up the LIY Ambassadors.
