Aaron Rodgers is now answering some questions about an injury he’s been dealing with this season.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback has been playing with this injury since week five.

However, the answers he’s giving about his injury might shock some NFL fans.

So what is the MVP quarterback telling the reporters about his injury?

Rodgers Is Willing To Play Through His Injury

When the Packers went to London to face the New York Giants, Rodgers suffered a thumb injury during the last play of that game.

However, he now confirms his injury is, in fact, a broken right thumb.

While his thumb is broken, he’s not thinking about surgery.

Instead, he’s roughing out his injury for this season and beyond.

Despite having the option to have surgery after the season concludes, he’s opting to decline having surgery.

With him saying he’s “played with worse injuries,” he’s feeling the thumb injury isn’t a concern for him.

While the injury might explain some of his issues, he doesn’t feel it is affecting his play.

However, with this injury being on his throwing thumb, it’s got to be affecting his holding the football.

With NFL players taking time off with thumb injuries, it’s odd that Rodgers won’t take time off.

But there might be an answer to this question.

With Jordan Love waiting in the wings, the aging quarterback might not want him to shine.

While the two are “friends” on the field, history shows how Rodgers never liked the Packers picking Love during the 2020 NFL Draft.
