On Wednesday, Luka Doncic will lead his Dallas Mavericks into TD Garden to face Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and the Boston Celtics.

The game will feature some of the best rising stars in the NBA.

On top of that, in Doncic’s opinion, the game will also feature the best duo in the league.

The Mavericks superstar believes that Tatum and Brown make up the best duo in the NBA right now.

“They’re probably the No. 1 team in the league, and they probably have the best duo in the league, too,” Doncic said. “And we’re in the Garden — it’s always a special game. You have to come 100 percent. If you’re not, you’re probably going to lose. It’s a big game.”

Doncic continued.

“Just watching their game,” Doncic said. “I think a lot of people can see that. I think the way they play. I know people try to separate them but they fit together, they went to the Finals last year, so I think those two are really great players.”

Doncic clearly has a lot of respect for Tatum and Brown, but the point guard is a phenomenal player himself.

Wednesday’s game figures to be a good one.

3 Young Stars

Doncic, Tatum, and Brown are going to be some of the NBA’s biggest stars for years to come.

Here’s a look at each player’s numbers so far this season:

  • Doncic: 33.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 8.1 assists per game
  • Tatum: 30.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists per game
  • Brown: 25.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists per game

Last season, of course, Tatum and Brown led the Celtics to the NBA Finals.

Doncic, meanwhile, got the Mavericks within three wins of a trip to the NBA Finals.

Both teams are hoping to get there this season.
