The Los Angeles Rams are having a horrible season in 2022.
After winning the Super Bowl last season, it appears nothing is going right for the team.
The news got worse for them, as star wide receiver Cooper Kupp is sidelined with an ankle injury.
However, the fan reactions to the latest news on Kupp show a deeper concern from NFL fans.
Fans React To Adam Schefter’s Update On Kupp
Sunday morning began with some bad news from Adam Schefter about Kupp.
Rams standout WR Cooper Kupp is expected to miss six to eight weeks after undergoing surgery for a high ankle sprain. The Rams, who are 3-6 entering Sunday’s contest against the Saints, will need to bounce back to give Kupp any chance to return this year.https://t.co/YXIqr5BSHs

With the standout receiver getting surgery, he’s going to be out for the rest of the regular season.
However, the chances of him returning this season falls on his team being able to reach the playoffs.
With their chances of reaching the playoffs being slim, fantasy football players aren’t seeing a return by him.
Do I trade him tho? I have a offer…

But for the Detroit Lions, the injury can help them get a higher placement in the 2023 NFL Draft.
This is good for Lions fans. The Rams 1st round pick which is owned by the Lions should keep getting better.

While fans of the Lions are happy with the injury, those who follow the Rams are completely disappointed.
Rams really the most pathetic sb reigning champs ever they don’t deserve kupp

With Kupp gone, fans see no hope, as they know Matthew Stafford is a turnover machine.
Kupp is simply great while the Rams simply are not. They got so lucky to win the Super Bowl last year. Stafford is a pick 6 machine.

However, one fan ponders how important one other player was during his time in Los Angeles.
Rams are 3-6 with Kupp. To have a chance they need to go 6-2 down the stretch. If the could only manage 3 wins with him they aren’t going to get 6 without him. Maybe O’Connell was more important to the Rams than we thought.

With the Rams at 3-6, it’s clearly a tall task to make the playoffs.
It’s rare for teams with only three wins this deep in the NFL season to reach the playoffs.
Because of this, it’s likely we won’t see Kupp until the start of the 2023 NFL season.
