New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo is reportedly re-signing with the club on a multi-year deal, according to multiple reports.
Rizzo will reportedly make $34 million on a two-year deal, with a $6 million buyout on a club option for a third year, giving him $40 million guaranteed.

Rizzo, who joined the Yankees in 2021 after ten seasons and a World Series championship with the Chicago Cubs, batted .224/.338/.480 this season notching 77 runs including 32 home runs.
Most importantly Rizzo plays Gold Glove-winning defence for the Yankees. The four-time winner was a rumoured target of the reigning World Series champion Houston Astros before the Yankees locked him up.
