The NFL trade deadline is set for Tuesday at 4 p.m. Eastern.

So all NFL contenders should be looking to improve their teams before then.

There have been plenty of players whose names are getting thrown around in potential deals.

Here are three players that should be traded before the deadline.

1. Brandin Cooks, Wide Receiver, Houston Texans

The Houston Texans might be the worst team in the NFL.

They should be looking to off-load some players that do not fit into their plans.

Brandin Cooks is a very good receiver (six 1,000-yard seasons in nine years), but he makes a lot of money and the Texans are looking to move him.

Some teams that have shown interest in Cooks are the Cowboys, Rams, Giants, and Vikings.

It would be a surprise if Cooks was not on a new team come Tuesday.

2. Bradley Chubb, Edge Rusher, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos look prepared to move some of their assets.

One player that looks to be on the trade block is Bradley Chubb.

Chubb is having a good season, as he has recorded 5.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

Denver is 3-5 on the year and any chance they have at the playoffs is all but lost.

Pass rushers are a very important position, and Chubb looks like the best one available.

3. Elijah Moore, Wide Receiver, New York Jets

The time for the Jets to trade Elijah Moore is now.

His role with the team is all but gone and he seems frustrated to even be in New York.

Moore has the potential to be a very good wide receiver in this league if he can find the right situation.

There are plenty of teams looking for a receiver at the deadline, and Moore should be on all of their radars.

While the Jets have stated they do not want to trade Moore, they may not have a choice.

The 22-year-old receiver does not want to play for the Jets, so something needs to change.
