Week 8 in the NFL featured so many great individual performances that it is hard to pick only three.

Multiple players had three touchdowns games and that led to a high-scoring week.

It is rare to have a week with many elite performances.

Without further ado, here are three NFL players who had a big game on Sunday.

1. Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys

All Tony Pollard needed was the opportunity to start to show what he is capable of.

With Ezekiel Elliott missing the game on Sunday, Pollard rushed 14 times for 131 yards and three touchdowns.

He averaged 9.4 yards per carry, and showed everyone why he is one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL.

Pollard is a ton of fun to watch, and he should continue to get a substantial workload when Elliott returns.

The Cowboys offense is at its best when they get Pollard on the field, so we should see more of that coming soon.

2. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints

Through the first seven games of the season, Saints star running back Alvin Kamara did not score a touchdown.

Kamara ended that scoreless streak in a big way on Sunday.

He recorded 62 rushing yards and a touchdown, along with 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns against the Raiders.

This was the best game of the season for Kamara as it showed off his versatility.

New Orleans was in desperate need of a win so they went to their best offensive player plenty.

3. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers

In his second game after being traded to the 49ers, Christian McCaffrey showed he was well worth all the picks given up for him.

The star running back completed the offensive trifecta in Sunday’s win over the Rams.

He recorded a passing touchdown, rushing touchdown, and receiving touchdown.

This was one of the most impressive performances of the season.

Adding McCaffrey to this offense makes the 49ers one of the most dangerous teams in the NFC.
