The Golden State Warriors were in action Tuesday night, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James tuned in.

Although the Warriors didn’t have a good night overall, rising star Jordan Poole put together a solid performance, and he earned some love from James during the game.

The Warriors lost to the Phoenix Suns 134-105.

However, Poole dropped a solid 17 points, five assists, and two rebounds while shooting 6-for-12 from the field and 2-for-5 from deep.

The youngster is looking to have a strong 2022-23 season after inking a major contract extension with the Warriors earlier this month.

The Road Ahead For Poole’s Warriors And James’ Lakers

Poole and the Warriors have had an iffy start to the season, as they’re just 2-2 through four games.

However, both of their losses have come against quality opponents, with their first loss coming against the Denver Nuggets and their second loss obviously coming against the Suns.

Poole is averaging 15.0 points, 5.8 assists, and 1.3 rebounds per game so far.

The Warriors have plenty of time to figure things out and will likely emerge as one of the best teams in the Western Conference before the regular season ends.

The outlook for James and the Lakers isn’t quite as promising.

Los Angeles can’t buy a win right now and is 0-3 on the season.

The team has a difficult stretch of games coming up and could realistically remain without a victory until next month.

James is averaging 27.3 points, 7.3 assists, and 11.0 rebounds per game, but his production hasn’t been enough to get the Lakers in the win column just yet.
