The Carolina Panthers came into this season with hopes they could make some noise with a new quarterback.

They were hoping to get the best out of Baker Mayfield and have him lead them back to the playoffs.

But, that has not even come close to happening.

Instead, the Panthers have one of the worst teams in the NFL, and Mayfield is not the answer.

Carolina knows they need to rebuild their roster, so they are looking to move some of their best players for draft picks.

They have already traded Robbie Anderson and Christian McCaffrey, but there are still moves to be made.

Some other players that could be traded by the Panthers are D.J. Moore, Brian Burns, and Shaq Thompson.

Carolina should be looking to collect as many draft picks as possible as they begin this rebuild.

They already picked up a second, third, and fourth-round pick from the 49ers for McCaffrey.

Now it is just about seeing how many assets they can add before the trade deadline.

With the current look of their roster, this Panthers team is headed for the first-overall pick.

This should be a good thing for them as the upcoming NFL draft class is full of good QB prospects.

But, before the Panthers can worry about who to draft, they need to have the right coach in place.

Carolina should be on the lookout for an offensive-minded head coach that can develop their next QB.

If you have great coaches in the NFL you immediately have a chance to win games.

The Panthers might have a long rebuild ahead but a great head coach and stud rookie QB can be their cornerstones.
