Over the years, we have seen several hilarious ads in MLB.

Advertising and baseball have existed for a long, long time.

However, technology has allowed these ads and promos to be more…creative, shall we say.

During the American League Division Series game between the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday night, we saw one of these promos between innings.

The game, broadcasted by TBS, served as the platform for a House Of The Dragon promo.

In fact, TV viewers could see a dragon fly over the skies at Yankee Stadium.

An Odd Promo To Show In A Playoff Game: Fans Weren’t Particularly Thrilled

In case you needed to hear or read it, as the announcers said, it wasn’t a real dragon.

“I can’t believe this actually happened during the Yankees game,” Baseball Bros said with a smiley face.

House of the Dragon is an American fantasy drama television series.

It is actually an independent prequel to the widely successful Game of Thrones, which aired from 2011 to 2019.

It has fans all over the world, but for a night, it made its way to a different type of audience.

Judging by the replies to Baseball Bros’ tweet, some people didn’t like to see this promo on a baseball game.

“Brutal this network should not have MLB baseball,” one of the users tweeted.

“Embarrassing for this to happen during a playoff game,” another user wrote.

It was certainly an odd, unusual platform to run the promo.

MLB has been opening to new markets, streaming services, and networks, so we might be seeing some things we aren’t used to.
