Getting a flat tire on a road bicycle is a bummer. So is taking out all of the family bikes for a ride only to find that the kids’ bike tires are completely flat. For many years, I struggled with various bicycle tire pumps that supposedly worked with both Presta valves (common on road bike tires) and Schrader valves (common on most other bicycles).
Luckily for you, the solution to my problem is marked 20% off at this week’s Amazon Prime Day event.
The Leznye classic floor pump put an end to all my tire troubles. With a varnished wood handle, sturdy base and extra long hose with aluminum couplers, the Leznye pump looks built to last, and it is.
Most importantly, an ABS1 Pro Flip-Thread Chuck System makes it simple to connect to both Presta and Shrader valves with no muss or fuss. Just unscrew the connector at the end of the hose, flip it and screw it back on to switch from Presta to Schrader. The pump provides 220 pounds per square inch (psi) pressure, and an accurate, easy-to-read gauge shows your tire pressure in psi or BAR.
During the Amazon Prime Day October event, the Leznye floor pump is marked down 20%. The black and white versions of the pump are now $64, down from $80, and the “neo metallic” model is now $80, down from $100.
