What’s cooler than being cool? Ice cold! Or DeVonta Smith shivering during the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 4 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The game was held at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on a rainy day where the high was 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
A clip of Smith’s reactions to the chilly weather went viral.
At one point in the game, he put a towel over his head and said, “I ain’t trying to get sick now.”
The reactions ramped up as the rain continued to pour.
“I’m cold as hell,” he said while wearing a team-issued beanie and a rain jacket sitting on the bench. “My hands froze.”
Smith, who is from Louisiana and went to college at Alabama, shared one of the posts on Twitter, saying, “Bro y’all don’t understand how cold it was” with a series of laughing emojis.

He finished with three receptions for 17 yards on the day as the Eagles beat the Jaguars 29-21.
He had a better outing the week after in sunny Arizona with ten catches for 87 yards as Philadelphia beat the Arizona Cardinals 20-17 to remain the lone unbeaten team in the league.
Smith, along with quarterback Jalen Hurts, fellow wideout A.J. Brown and a shutdown defense, have been wowing fans with their smooth style of play. But there’s one definition of cool that Skinny Batman likes to avoid as much as possible.
